Another day in paradise

It can be a long day when you don’t enjoy your work.  Luckily, for us, the Cygnet Market is a great place to meet friends, swap some gossip, enjoy a fabulous lunch and have coffee hand delivered by Ed and Jeanette.  In the middle of all that, we find time to provide all sorts of cooking and gardening advice, swap yarns with the locals, provide information and assistance to those visiting Tasmania and specifically, the Huon Valley and, in-between times we even manage to sell a few things!

Last Sunday, we arrived early as usual to set up the stall and there was someone new to have a chat to.

Outacaractor is a new arrival in Cygnet (although I understand he has been here before).  He makes unusual, sometimes quirky, never boring things.  Definitely not your usual tourist items.  Drop by and say hello when you visit next.

The Cygnet Market Car Park is now open.  The Cygnet Market has become very popular in recent years, and, it will be handy for the customers to be able to easily find a parking spot now.  The Cygnet Market Car Park – where the Market meets the Paddock.

Maybe we will be able to extend the market out the back and into the carpark.  Watch this space!

Now the carpark is open, there will be much better access to the Lovett Gallery. There’s always something interesting to see at the Lovett Gallery.

The Lovett Gallery is open 10am-4pm
Summer Friday-Sunday
Winter Saturday-Sunday
