This week at the Cygnet Market….Fathers Day Nut biscuits.

We’d like to share a great recipe and give away some freshly baked nut biscuits for Fathers’ Day at this Cygnet Market.

All customers who buy hazelnuts, walnuts or pistachios will receive a free (hazelnut, walnut or pistachio) nut biscuit (for Fathers’ Day) and they can  make these great little biscuits with the recipe below from Kate’s mum, Jean.

Nut Biscuits Recipe:

Combine and cream together the following:

250 grams butter,  1 tablespoon vanilla essence,  1/2 cup of icing sugar.

Add 3/4 cup chopped nuts, two cups Four Leaf 85% Light Flour.

Roll into balls and press down on greased baking trays.

Bake for approx 20 minutes at 180 C.
